    Are programming books actually useless?

If you have already learned one language and if you get, for example, a C Programming book it can help you transition from one to the other, but generally if you wouldn't say you're fluent in any particular language I would use the book alongside an instructor or video tutorial series. Books on specific topics are useful if you plan on using that information for a project, hobby or career. I would say the books are useless, but they shouldn't be the only thing you rely on.

Welcome, friend. I hope you have a good time.

    The Names Xbox.

Welcome, I hope you end up finding a place for yourself in this small community.
  4. You're likely gonna look back on yourself in a few years and be like "man, I was cringey." In short, I'm glad you're having fun, but disregarding cringe doesn't last forever. Believe me, I know.

    Trying to Remember an Episode

I don't remember the name, sorry, but if you've been searching their channel and can't find it, it might have been one of the videos that were made private due to the copyrice. If I remember correctly there's a channel called "bru's reuploads" that got permission to upload some of the private videos.

    Raid: WW2

Yeah, I really want to see how it turns out when it's fully released, but at the moment it's definitely not something I'm pre-ordering.

    Raid: WW2

So the beta for Raid: WW2 came out. It's closed, but everyone who owns PAYDAY 2 on Steam is automatically invited. I've played a couple missions on it so far, and it feels a lot like PAYDAY 2. I've not experienced a lot of bugs, but from what I've seen other people say it may be a bit unstable for you. I feel like it has the potential to be a great game, but I don't want it to end up just being "PAYDAY 2 but it's set in WW2." It's not a bad game, but I'm not pre-ordering it. It's worth downloading the beta though. From what I know the beta isn't giving all the missions at once, but rather a few at a time where each week it rotates which missions are available until the beta is over.

    Payday 2

Yeah, I've learned the paths and locations of the guards on the bank heist pretty well, but for things like scarface mansion it seems a bit more intimidating. At least the exterior guards on scarface don't have pagers.

    Payday 2

Just got this game a month ago, and I've been loving the way it works. I'm shit at stealth, though.

what was your first experience with alcohol?

I was at my cousin's graduation party, and we both ditched it to go to our friend's graduation party where alcohol was. My cousin's friend brought a bottle of vodka, and we all passed the bottle around until we were all drunk. We had a designated driver so we weren't afraid to drink until we could barely walk.
  11. When I joined this forum, I was a cringey middle-schooler, and now I'm a cringey CS major freshman.
  12. It's a really close election. Whoever wins will win only by a little bit. I will vote Trump btw. The no-fly zone in Syria would make a war with Russia and Syria more of a possibility, and I'm prime age to be drafted into a war with Russia if it comes to that.

    Thoughts on the next election?

This: If there were a politician that was good for the position, i wouldn't care if they have a penis or a vag.
